1. How do you get to WVU Tech?

Please refer to our driving directions page. 

2. I'm not yet 18, or I don't go to WVU Tech as a student. Can I still come?

Absolutely! However, you must be 15 or older to attend. For more information, visit the Rules page.

3. What do I need to bring?

Please refer to the Equipment (Hardware) section of the rules. 

4. How much does admission cost?

Participants: $10, Spectators: $0

5. Is there a contestant limit?

No, we do not have a limit on the amount of contestants for TechLAN or LAN for Life. TechLAN Jr. is limited based on the location; we do not use the Tech Ballroom for our small events.

6. Why should I come to LANville events?

Lots of food, lots of prizes, lots of fun. It's as simple as that. Some really cool computer science demonstrations will be on display. If you're really lucky, you'll get to meet the Tech Computer Science professors. They are what make computer science entertaining and interesting.

7. Can I come late or leave early?

Yes and yes. We realize that many of you may be coming from far away areas, so you may enter and leave whenever you wish.

8. My question wasn't answered. Where can I find the answer for which I'm looking?
